About the Artist
I have been drawing since I could hold a pencil and have it be aided with my imagination. I was lucky enough to have great parents who recognized the beginnings of a special talent, and at six years old was immediately put into acrylic painting classes. Painting animals, scenery and cartoons became one of my first loves until I was old enough to study human anatomy. At about ten years of age I loved drawing people, and began to work hard refining the skill of sketching every body part in porportion until I got it right. Everything I did was done by hand with every medium available, and I came to master characoal, acrylic paitning, chalk pastel, ink and graphite techniques. My art was frequently displayed throughout whatever school I was in before college.In high school I won a first place ribbon and an honorable mention ribbon both for my paintings. It was not until I was twenty, a little over four years ago, that I began experimenting with digital art, the reason being that I had been running a band website for a hobby. I discovered I was really good at Photoshop, deciding that this would be my career instead of just doing studio art. I work hard at always continuing to refine my digital art skills as well as integrating my studio skills into it to come up with designs and illustrations. Art is my life and love.
