Biography
My passion for art and design started when I was about 8, when I learned that I could draw really well. When I was 13, I wanted to pursue a career in Graphic Design.
In high school I took a year of Multimedia Design and a year of Animation at the Central County Occupational Center to learn the skills that would later help me in my field of study. I graduated both programs with a Certificate of Achievement, and received A's and awards in both classes.
I proceeded to attend Mission College where I earned an A.A. degree in General Studies, and transferred to Brooks College. Brooks was a specialized program where I learned all of the tools necessary to become a successful Designer. I graduated the program with honors (Magna Cum Laude) and got my A.S. in Graphic Design. I got an internship at Galaxy Printing doing design and production work. After my internship ended they offered me a job as a Graphic Designer. I worked at Galaxy for 3 months. After they closed down, I worked for Design2Market for about a year and a half continuing to do design, and production work, as well as administrative work. Currently, I am working for Cintara, designing postcards, mailers, billing envelopes, inserts, brochures and various marketing materials. On the side I work on different Freelance projects that are primarily web based.
